This unique collaboration between Molly, your young artist, and the scenic landscapes of Darebin and Merri Creek, creates an enriching and inspiring experience for all involved. 

The core focus of Nature’s Little Artist is to facilitate the creation of beautiful artworks through your child’s abstracted perception, using earth-friendly paints made from beetroot, spirulina, turmeric, and charcoal powder. This approach allows your child the freedom to explore and engage with the paints, without limitations. Encouraging bold mark making and the utilization of their surroundings, all while ensuring no negative impact on the environment.

 Molly passionately believes in the power of plein air painting, where children are encouraged to explore their artistic talents while immersing themselves in the splendour of nature. With her expertise and guidance, Molly ensures that each child will not only experience the joy of painting, but also gain knowledge about the ecological importance of their surroundings. This will be achieved through thoughtful and educational conversations, keeping your child engaged and immersed with their painting and surroundings.

At the end of the plein air painting session, you little artist will have completed a unique piece of art that beautifully represents their surroundings of your chosen creek. These sessions will have created beautiful memories, shared stories, and fostered a deeper understanding of the natural world. Molly will then take the child’s work back to her studio, refining the details and adding her own personal flair while preserving its inherent beauty.
